MONDAYS-SUNDAYS 11:00 A.M – 10:00 P.MWe are a small, family owned restaurant combining the appeal of award winning service with quality food. Opened in 2005, we are one of the leading restaurants in the region, with dishes like the Carne a la Tampiquena, which is made up of Grilled steak served with rice and beans, and a cheese enchilada, or the more exclusive Parillada Holy Frijoles. This is a combination Fajitas, with seasoned beef, shrimp and chicken grilled with bell peppers and onions. It comes with rice, pico de gallo, beans, guacamole and sour cream, a serving for two.Eating has never been more enjoyable than it is at the Holy Frijoles Tex Mex restaurant. We open from 11:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. every day, and all through the day we are committed to the highest levels of quality in terms of food and service. Our restaurant offers various types of services, including the following; We offer specialty dishes, with fun activities like sponsored juggles by waiters. The restaurant also offers soup and salad, seafood and a children’s menu, making it ideal for the whole family. We also offer catering services to our customers. Our dishes range from the normal Tex-Mex food like quesadillas and nachos to the more complex Carne Tampiquena and jumbo shrimp mojo de ajo.We are one of the most celebrated restaurants in the region. Our happy past customers are a testament to the quality we keep giving them whenever they visit. Over the years, we have won several accolades, including being chosen by the readers for the Best Tex Mex Food in Richardson by the Dallas Morning News, barely a year after opening in 2005.

Started going to this place about a year ago based on a newspaper review and have watched it blossom. We’ve had family parties, lunch meetings, and many great dinners. The couple who run this joint keep it hip without trying too hard. Above all, EXCELLENT food and QUALITY margaritas. Great service, but Friday nights can have a wait. Highly recommend this hidden treasure

Best Mexican food in DFW with the best prices!

This is a hole-in-the-wall (8 tables?) with class and classy food. The kitchen is open so you see the chefs at work. The food is delivered to your table as it comes off the grill. It is closer to authentic Mexican than Tex-Mex. My hope is that some of you (not all!) will try this place and help keep these hard-working people in business. However, if too many people try it I’ll have to start waiting in line or (god forbid!) they may raise their prices. Near Arapaho and Custer, just off of 75 Central Expressway in the Camelot shopping center.

Great local tex/mex restaurant!

My wife & I come here all the time. The food is always consistent and the service is top notch. It’s a small restaurant and does get busy in the evenings/peak hours. Their complementary salsa is some of the best in town and we love the fact that it’s happy hour all day/every day…$3 for a beer, margarita, sangria or a mojito….what more can you ask for? If you’re looking for a local tex/mex restaurant that services quality food at reasonable prices with great customer services, Holy Frijoles is the place for you. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by Jose (manager) and rest assured, he’ll take good care of you!

Great local tex/mex restaurant!

Great place!

This is a great (small) neighborhood tex/mex place to go. The drinks/food are great. My family of 4 go here often and enjoy the great service and food. We go to all the other places (Cocina/Fenix/Uncle Julios) and this place is still towards the top of our weekly Dinner list… This place is not for you if your expecting 4/5 star food/service however its very kid friendly and the drinks and food are all good.

Authentic Tex-Mex & Yummy Margaritas!

Went here for the margaritas and stayed for a great dinner. The margaritas were superb and did not taste like some other restaurants “house”/happy-hour margaritas. I ordered a Tex-Mex combo which was great, and my friend orderd a tilapia. Hers was also delish, but only get it if you love garlic. We didn’t experience any problems with the service and were very happy with the cleanliness (which would have been a dealbreaker for me;)). All in all, a quick stop for a cheap margarita turned into a long, but fantastic evening out.

Awesome place!

Best Margaritas and service in town.

Food is super good, too! What more can you ask for in a close to home restaurant that has such a comfortable, laid back atmosphere? I find myself here at least once a week now. Yes, it’s that awesome! 🙂 And just for the record….I’ve been UNDERCHARGED as many times as I’ve been charged the right amount. I’ve NEVER been overcharged, and trust me, I go here A LOT now.
